I'm pleased with my 2600X, but new tests indicate the 3600 outperforms it by up to 50 FPS.

The GPU variations in the tests might stem from the fact that the Ryzen 3000 offers only a modest improvement over the 2000, so it's wise to replace them every few years.

When using 1080p/75 settings, performance issues are usually minor. The main concern arises in certain online MMOs or similar games where FPS drops due to CPU strain rather than GPU limitations. A more powerful CPU can help reduce those drops. For everyday games, the impact is less significant.
