People expect a noticeable slowdown if the workaround works and supports Windows 11 on 7th Gen Intel processors. The expected performance drop ranges from about 1% to 2%. You're considering an upgrade to a Ryzen 9 8900X in Windows 10, which would likely avoid the TPM update but still involve trade-offs. It's worth noting that waiting until Windows 11 end-of-life might be a better option for your needs.

No TPM required; firmware is available in BIOS settings. You can add it now using alternative methods and maintain comparable performance, possibly even better than Windows 10.

I tested it with a late 2016 Pentium CPU—I understand it wasn’t powerful. I saw a noticeable slowdown, around 10–20% after benchmarks. For a 7700K, the improvement would likely be less but still apparent.
