I've been running some test files on my Avermedia Live Gamer Portable about two weeks ago. Early captures were fine, but lately there have been more issues during testing sessions with my cousin. The main problems were missing frames and audio sync problems. These issues appeared mainly when we were doing quick actions and talking through the Blue Snowball. In the preview window, the video would occasionally pause for a few seconds (around half to one and a half seconds). Looking up possible causes, I found some details about system needs for certain apps linked to the LGP (RECentral, Stream Engine, XSplit, OBS, etc.). The recommended OS versions are Windows 8 (32/64 bit), Windows 7 (32/64 bit), Mac OS 10.7 and above with a specific CPU and RAM specs. My laptop, which runs Windows 8, only has an Intel Celeron processor from early 2013, just 2GB of RAM, and a basic graphics card that struggles with higher settings. Considering this, it seems my machine might be contributing to the recording problems.
