Hey everyone. I'm facing some challenges because I want to assemble a brand new PC. I ordered almost all the parts except the motherboard, but recently discovered a website selling a rog-strix B360-G motherboard at a 30% discount. It looks like a solid offer, though I haven't found any details about compatibility with the 9400f using R0 revision. If you have similar setups without problems, please let me know. Thanks!

In theory, b360 backs coffee lake version 9, but a bios update is required.

However, as you observe, the i5-9400f with R0 revision isn’t shown in the supported CPUs list. This is consistent across various Neveras, such as the Rog Strix Z390... It simply isn’t included with R0. I don’t get why it’s happening.

B365 works with the latest version from the start, unlike B360.

I understand, I’m aware. I can request a local update info, but I’m unsure if it will work with the I5-9400F using that specific revision... That’s my concern. The CPU with R0 isn’t shown on the supported CPUs list for any ASUS board.
