I'm known for being very patient and haven't even tried AC Black Flag yet. I plan to rewatch the previous matches at 21:9 before diving in. Still, patience is key. Battlefield costs £25 on Origin—how affordable are these games? Is it worth it right now? The Ultimate and Deluxe versions are also discounted. Do the differences justify the cost? Check out the prices here: https://www.origin.com/gbr/en-us/store/b...rd-edition Ultimate: £70 Deluxe: £33 Standard: £25 (approx.). What makes these editions stand out? From what I see, the Deluxe edition mainly includes DLC, which I can wait for cheaper. The Ultimate version has a Premium Pass—do you know what that is? Is it a yearly online pass? If so, I won’t buy Battlefield for the rest of my life. I value my self-respect and don’t understand why the Ultimate edition is so pricey. Still, Standard and Deluxe are quite steep too. With digital sales, it might cost just a penny per copy. Personally, I’m not going to waste time ranting about game prices. But I do remember spending £40 on games when I was younger—with my mom’s help. Feeling a bit guilty about that.

You received the standard preorder edition, which includes all essential features. (Note: The game becomes less engaging after 40 hours and tends to have performance issues.)

EA is the standard. Avoid purchasing anything except the standard from those self-interested individuals.

It's true, many people find BF1 very enjoyable when played at 21:9.

The premium editions generally contain features accessible only after completing the game. Major game elements are absent in the more expensive versions.

Ultimate offers a comparable cost to Standard without discounts, and it includes four upcoming DLCs.

No, we shouldn't always purchase items without any prior knowledge.

I wouldn't purchase the deluxe edition—it only offers a few existing firearms with various skins that are exclusive to the deluxe version. The top-tier option is more valuable if you intend to play extensively and obtain the premium pass, though even then you might wait for a discount or promotion to acquire the pass later (DLC content won't be released until March, so getting it now isn't practical unless you can secure a deal immediately).

It carries some risk, but if you enjoy the game, they’re likely to add quality content in future DLCs. For a safer approach, purchase the base game, hold off until the first DLC, and then judge its value.
