I don’t have access to real-time inventory data or pricing links. You might want to check online retailers or contact local stores for availability and discounts.

No reason known, but availability was extremely low. It remained unsold for many months.

Lots of folks are suggesting it, so maybe I’ll go with the 3100 and boost it.

You can still purchase it, though delivery might be delayed by about a month.

The issue with the 3300X lies in its power source, as all four cores share the same CCX, unlike the 3100 which distributes them across two different CCXs. It seems they rushed the 3300X to compete directly with the 7700K, despite the fact that having four cores in a single CCX doesn’t align with AMD’s more profitable configurations for higher-end models like the 3700X and 3800X.

They likely will stop using this SKU since the yield meets expectations for premium models. You may notice it again later if sales of 3700 or 3800 units lag behind. Right now, they’ll focus on selling top-tier chips until the market shifts completely to the 5000 series.

The 3100 and 3300X models are available, but their prices are significantly higher than the recommended MSRP, making them seem quite expensive.
