Hello. It seems a bit unusual, but I’m not very familiar with wireless networking. I bought an Asus Rog Strix Z370-E Gaming recently, and it usually comes with 2.4G and 5GHz antennas. The problem is, I don’t have those. I’m wondering if I can find other antennas that fit my motherboard or if I need to get the ones that came with it. Thanks a lot, and sorry for my unclear English.

Antennas are tailored for particular frequencies. Therefore, any 2.4G or 5G Wi-Fi antenna will function as long as it matches the connections needed for your setup. Keep in mind, the antenna must align with the system specifications—use a 2.4G antenna if your system requires it, and a 5G antenna if that’s the case.

That's the antenna for your motherboard. They likely have 2.4/5 GHz options since your previous router came with those antennas. IF you don't have it, I'll reach out to ASUS to check if they can send one for free.

I saved money by getting the motherboard at a discounted price since it didn’t have antennas. If I installed my old TP-Link USB Wi-Fi adapter’s antenna on the 2.4 GHz port and used the other port for 5GHz with a compatible adapter, it might work.

No need to worry, I understand. Just give me a clear yes or no before making any purchase. Thanks!

You can locate them on eBay for roughly $25 to $30, with minor variations. A top search result is here: https://www.ebay.com/p/ASUS-Rog-STRIX-Z3...239&chn=ps
