Upgraded the stock Samsung RAM from 2 x 8GB CL40 to 2 x 32GB 4800 CL38. After searching online, I couldn't find any options to turn on "memory configuration" in BIOS for XMP support. CPUZ shows the SPD tab lists XMP 3.0, but it's unclear if that means it's active or just supported. The memory section also lists a DRAM speed of 2394.1 MHz. I'm unsure how to interpret all these details and settings. I just want to confirm I'm getting optimal performance from this RAM and know what steps can help. It seems the BIOS detected XMP even without an enabled profile, but I'm not sure why. The "Frequency Limit for Mixed 2DPC DDR5" was changed to 0 for automatic mode, and I switched Gear from 0 to 1 before, but the computer would reset after a while. Can someone help explain these screenshots?

Not consistently accurate. Occasionally devices operate at a base JEDEC speed of 4000MT/s even though their XMP profile remains simply updated to the same JEDEC standard.

Yeah, but look at that kit, the supported JEDEC and XMP are the exact same thing, so it should just always work unless the board doesn't support the frequency the kit supports.

You might think motherboards aren't smart and sometimes do silly things. It’s usually just a random mistake during training, or maybe a careless programmer who sets defaults without thinking unless they specifically enabled XMP. He probably never really tested the XMP feature. Sorry for the oversight—he’s just a new intern. This issue will likely be fixed in a future BIOS update if anyone notices.
