I haven’t had Windows 10 Technical preview set up since the second release. I’ve heard some updates recently about them bringing back Aero for select users to review. Would you mind checking if it’s still available and active, especially since you enjoy the Aero look?

It seems like you're just getting the lowdown with a touch of Aero flair. I only had a glimpse for a day before things went wrong, so I can't rely on it anymore. But they should offer a choice between metro and Aero—because not everyone prefers the same vibe.

They say the taskbar and start menu look semi-transparent, but the window edges stay clear. Aero didn’t help much—it drained your GPU power, which made translucency possible. Some users suggest turning it off for smoother in-game performance. It was removed from Windows 8 to reduce GPU demands.

All panels and the taskbar follow an Aero style, while other sections differ. The glass-like areas include: Taskbar, Start Menu, Action center/notification bar, wireless connection panel, battery status panel, and volume control. In Windows 10, this design choice gives a pleasant look without Aero glass on program title bars. The borders are now just 1px, which isn't affecting window scaling, and Universal apps can customize the title bar color to suit preferences.

The taskbar and one volume button appear clear, whereas the start menu, notifications, and another volume button show a blurred background. Applications such as Chrome and File Explorer display a bright white instead of aero. Volume with a transparent look; Volume with a blurred appearance. Program boundaries

I prefer them to reinstate Aero completely. I'm not concerned about the impact on my GPU performance since it's already insufficient.

Even without them, I think someone will share it.
