I recently assembled a new PC featuring: Ryzen 7 5800XT Intel Arc B580 MSI B550M Pro-VDH WIFI be quiet! Pure Power 12 M 750W. After powering it on, there was no display and the motherboard displayed a VGA debug light. I've tried several troubleshooting actions without success: re-seating the GPU, reseating RAM one at a time, adjusting M.2 slots, booting without one, clearing CMOS, flashing BIOS to version 7C95v2M, reattaching power cables, using an older GPU (GT1030) that I know functions, swapping HDMI and DP cables. I’ve also tested the B580 with the same power supply on a different motherboard and with my GT1030. The problem remains unresolved. I have no clear direction next.

A VGA light may result from various problems such as CPU, RAM, motherboard, or PSU issues. You didn’t mention reseating your CPU, yet you switched it between motherboards—likely already done. Have you verified your CPU’s functionality? As I mentioned earlier, a faulty CPU can trigger the VGA light since its PCIe lanes connect to the GPU and other components. Another test I didn’t list is attempting to insert a GPU into a different PCIe slot. Although this board only has one x16 slot, you can use an x1 slot (though bandwidth is limited). If plugging in a GPU isn’t possible, consider using an adapter cable (available at stores and Amazon). Here’s a reference link for an example: https://www.memoryexpress.com/Products/MX67227
