I purchased my Windows license four years ago with my current PC. Can I apply it to additional computers? Are there any restrictions on its usage?

On Windows 10, your login is linked to your Microsoft account.

But consider if it doesn't require a Microsoft account? (that seems pretty basic)

Attempting to use a single key across several PCs raises concerns. Microsoft may revoke it if you proceed. You can still run Windows 10 without a key by bypassing the prompt for your key during installation. Features like changing wallpapers won't work, and you'll see a watermark prompting verification of your Windows setup.

I repeated my key several times. Similar to when I had to provide the key during setup and entered it on different devices (my PC, my dad's old laptop, my brother's old laptop).

If Microsoft ever takes away the activation key, only the devices will notice they aren't running Windows properly. You can easily get genuine OEM keys elsewhere, which is the best solution right now. Until then, don’t stress too much.

You need the retail license for Windows 10 (or the previous version you upgraded to) to move it. OEM licenses from manufacturers like Dell or HP are cheaper but not transferable, while System Builder OEM licenses can be purchased at stores and are transferable.

It seems like you're referring to a retail version of something, and you're okay with it. Your license isn't currently revoked.
