I'm using an i7-14700K paired with a Corsair H150i 360 AIO. It usually stays around 35°C during idle. I'm running BIOS version 1301 for my ROG STRIX Z790-E Gaming WiFi ii, which is set to "Intel Default Settings" (see attached photo). I haven't changed any settings except XMP II, which helped keep my RAM stable at the rated speed of 7200 mt/s. I've observed that core voltage changes slightly each time I boot or restart—typically between 1.368 and 1.430. After running the stress tests from Intel XTU (CPU, AVX/2 & Memory), I saw power, current, and thermal throttling events, but all passed. The Cinebench R23 also throttled more than the XTU tests, yet it ran without crashes or BSODs. I've only played one game so far on this system (PUBG at 1440p ultra), and it performed well—CPU temps stayed between 60-70°C with low load (1080Ti handling most tasks). The XTU score seems lower than expected, though the HWiNFO64 data shows "CPU Power Limits" as Unlimited. That’s unusual—I’m not sure if that’s normal or if something needs attention.
