I just moved my PC into a new apartment and started VALORANT. After a while, it kept restarting. Setting the FPS cap to 200 resolved the issue. I own a Seasonic SGX 650 power supply that previously ran a 3090 without issues, but I upgraded to a 3070 Ti. My CPU is a 5600x and tends to draw power. Previously I experienced occasional reboots, but they were rare. I checked temperatures and everything looked normal.

It's time to purchase a fresh power supply unit and replace all the connectors. Avoid attempting to restart the computer using the outdated PSU.

I made an RMA using Seasonic's 10-year warranty. Below is the image you mentioned.

Don't try it again or you'll end up in trouble

It seems to be working now. The faulty pin was located on the power supply side. Did you use one cable for the graphics card or multiple cables?

It’s unusual for these to melt with just one cable, especially since they’re connected together. Most people stick with two cables for safety and reliability.

The cable might have overheated or the PSU was consuming excessive power. I haven’t noticed or felt my power supply malfunctioning in the same way.

It seems the cable slipped slightly during movement and caught fire like the 12VHPWR models. The latch stayed intact, so I’m counting on Seasonic to honor my warranty.
