I’ve gathered the necessary components and reviewed the PCPP list you shared. The NZXT N7 B650E ATX AM5 board includes an extra 4-pin ATX power connector, but the TG 850 W power supply from Thermalright doesn’t have one available. This connector provides extra current capacity. Even without it, your system should still function, though higher power needs or intense overclocking might make it necessary. You’re not overclocking and won’t be using VR, so you’re likely running at a stable 144Hz with 1440p resolution. The games you’ll play are manageable but not extremely demanding. If the connector becomes an issue, you can check for compatibility or consider a compatible alternative later. Let me know if you need help finding a suitable replacement.
The motherboard doesn’t require the extra 4-pin for full operation. The 8-pin CPU EPS power connector supports continuous 226 watts and can handle higher loads if needed. I’ve only used the 8-pin setup on all my systems, even with an overclocked i9-9900k. You’ll be just fine with the single 8-pin connection.
It needs two 4+4 CPU connectors. Using half of them will work fine for the motherboard.
