I'm planning to purchase components for my initial gaming PC within roughly a month while saving up. I'm super into Fallout and really want to get Fallout 4 right away. However, I also have an Xbox One, so I could buy the game now and play it in low quality on my TV. I don't want to delay, but I also hope to enjoy my highly anticipated title on a powerful PC. It's tough deciding what to do.
Check your current component list here. A few specs might update, but the 6700K and 980 Ti should stay.
PC build is still pending, but I've learned that Xbox One often faces problems with Fallout 4.
I’d probably hold off. Given your selection of the GTX 980 TI, as noted by Maybach123, performance on both PS4 and Xbox One is currently limited.
