You're experiencing some unusual mouse behavior, especially when booting up your computer. It seems like the issue started after installation and is affecting how you interact with the system. The temporary workaround you found works for a while, but it's not a permanent fix. You mentioned seeing a Reddit thread about similar problems—maybe others have shared their experiences there. Reinstalling via recovery or using a USB drive could help restore stability, but it depends on your system's state. Consider checking for driver updates and ensuring your mouse drivers are up to date. If the problem persists after those steps, you might want to explore further troubleshooting options.

Test the mouse on a different PC or laptop. These devices include electronics and circuits, so they might be damaged.

I attempted that, but there are no problems with the mouse on my other laptop as well. I tried using another mouse on the PC, yet the issue persists.

I’m aware of the problem I resolved—it was the logging software that enabled it; without it, performance was poor.
