Check your motherboard with a basic test to see if it functions properly.
I recently bought a Gigabyte B450 motherboard. From my home’s CCTV recordings, I noticed the delivery person dropped it carelessly near my gate. I’m trying to verify its functionality without having a suitable CPU or RAM at the moment—they’re expected soon for insurance claims. Since I don’t have access to all components right now, I need a way to check if the board is still operational and everything works properly without testing the physical parts. I have a compatible graphics card and SATA drives, but those might not be very useful. Can someone help me with this? Thanks in advance. Also, I noticed the package landed upside down, which probably made the fragile warning text hard to see.
You need a CPU to run it properly. That’s not a huge issue. He was just hoping you’d get it. Products are checked to ensure they stay intact even from minor impacts. This is why they’re packed in boxes with extra protection.
