The Razer Mamba may have sensor issues. Check for irregular movement or acceleration by running tests consecutively with the abyssus and mamba.
It shouldn't be the monitor. Based on what I found, the input lag for the 2414H is under one frame. The problem might lie elsewhere, possibly not with the PC. Have you tried changing your peripherals to check?
I've owned the Razer Abyssus for nearly a year and grew tired of its pixelated quality. I initially suspected the mouse might be the issue, but both models perform similarly. I'm beginning to suspect the motherboard isn't handling the GTX 970 and Intel Core i5-4460 well.

It seems the image quality might be affected by your monitor settings or pointer sensitivity. Check the resolution and ensure pointer precision isn't too high.
I reduced the sensitivity and it helped a bit, though not much. It feels a bit choppy rather than smooth, which isn’t what you’d expect if AA was more noticeable. When I move diagonally, it skips 3-4 pixels, but it works fine horizontally and vertically too. I’ve also tried FXAA, but it didn’t improve things.
