The problem is that I’ve changed the system from an old computer, so it now sees it as untrusted. I’m just trying to get a 30-day free trial, and I don’t use a touchscreen. Should I get Windows 7 or something else?

You might want Windows 8.1 for better compatibility with older software.

It seems Windows 10 can be upgraded from Windows 8 or 8.1 without cost.
