Check your CPU and motherboard for issues.
Only the cables and the Nvidia connector are included. It's the FE version. You seem to think it's not the GPU so you need to upgrade the PSU. But if that wasn't clear... I'm open to any adjustments. I've received the updated motherboard. They tested it at full power for an entire workday without issues. I installed it and it keeps throwing errors, even when running low power. It's starting to worry me—there are errors popping up on core #6 constantly. At 00:00:00, the test began on 2022-03-04 at 22:42:08. There were several errors logged shortly after: CPU faults ranging from 66118 to 98204. I'm considering this a red flag and might need to dig deeper. Update: The motherboard arrived in perfect condition, matching what was described. I'm ready to investigate further.
Update - I encountered an unusual situation and felt a bit annoyed, so I went back into Windows with caution. Since I wanted to retain some helpful files, I opted for a refresh instead of starting completely over. Now everything seems stable...??!??? Windows has removed several programs, so I'm trying to figure out what might have led to this tricky issue. I've organized the removed items but remain cautious about my suspicions and thoughts. Looks like Intel® Management Engine Components – not enough knowledge to eliminate it. Intel® Serial IO – seems tied to hardware connections; I haven't cleared all peripherals yet, even though they didn’t cause issues in my older system, maybe? Realtek USB Audio – audio would crash often. Driver alone shouldn’t trigger CPU errors, but I’m still unsure. Intel® Chipset Device Software – not enough info to dismiss. Intel® Computing Improvement Program – what was it? Just a strange program. Intel® Wireless Bluetooth® – still has Bluetooth support, so its role is unclear. Spoiler: Probably nothing major. MSI Afterburner 4.6.4 – I used it recently for safe undervolting to help with power issues, hoping it could assist the existing problem. HWiNFO64 Version 7.16 – some users report conflicts when running OCCT and HWiNFO together. I rarely combined them, which can cause lots of errors, though they shouldn’t usually crash Windows or Windows itself. CORSAIR iCUE 4 Software – reinstalled without triggering errors or crashes. 7-Zip 21.07 (x64), Blender, CrystalDiskInfo, Discord, Dota 2, Epic Games Launcher, Epic Online Services, Google Chrome, Heaven, Benchmark version 4.0, Helix Core Apps, Microsoft Edge, WebView2, Runtime, Microsoft OneDrive, Microsoft Update, Health Tools, Visual C++ redistributables (various versions). - I wasn’t doing OCCT and HWiNFO together often, which can cause errors, but it’s unlikely to be the main cause. CORSAIR iCUE 4 – fixed successfully after reinstall. NVIDIA Graphics Driver, HD Audio Driver, PhysX System Software, various Visual C++ redistributables. - Windows might have been acting up recently and only got fixed after an update. I’m puzzled because it’s hard to pinpoint exactly what caused the problem, and I haven’t seen similar issues elsewhere. Leaving a note for anyone who might find this useful.
You're experiencing the same problem but with errors appearing in your 'Logical core' instead of the virtual core. Your symptoms suggest potential issues with Windows functioning improperly, possibly due to a faulty PSU or CPU. Despite replacing the power supply and cooler, your PC becomes unstable, freezing, and shutting down after a day. The issue seems consistent across different environments. Please let me know what steps you've taken so far.
