I recently switched to a Ryzen 5800x from a 3600 and I’m wondering if my concerns about cooling might be unusual. When running CPU-heavy programs like Cinebench, my temperatures jump quickly to 80-90°C, which feels a bit alarming. I expected higher temps with more power, but not this sudden spike. My system specs include the Ryzen 5800x Noctua NH-U12s with Chromex and MSI B450, paired with a RTX3070 and VENTUS 3X.

CPUs may reach peak temperatures in just a few seconds, or even faster. Ryzen models like the 5xxx and 7xxx are optimized to achieve maximum heat for peak performance. When using Cinebench, aim for the CPU to operate at its full capacity.

You're right to notice that. It was unexpected how quickly it reached the desired temperature. I thought it would need some time to warm up.

It seems the device is heating up very quickly, which might indicate an issue with the cooling system. Consider adjusting the cooler's position again.
