Your Acer Nitro 5 has stopped working after a year, and it won’t power on at all. The side light is on when you plug it in, but the screen remains black. You might want to check the power connections, try a different charger, or see if the battery is dead. If the light stays on but nothing works, it could be a hardware issue that needs professional help.

Have you attempted disconnecting the device and pressing the power button for half a minute to restart it completely? Some models might include a small opening to reset if it's stuck on power. https://community.acer.com/en/kb/article...ot-turn-on If those steps fail, and you're past the warranty period, you could try reinserting the RAM.

I've worked with Acer Nitro laptops and noticed they're made with very low quality construction and heavily restricted settings. Any modifications tend to trigger a panic response. Clearing the CMOS usually works, but if you altered any hardware components, reverting them is advisable.
