Orientation of the fans appears proper, and 1700rpm should be the maximum speed for that profile, not their present rate. You'd notice it clearly if fans ran at 1700rpm during idle. Under a stress test, CPU temperatures would rise significantly after roughly five minutes.

I tested it over a longer duration (95 hours). For the first 15 minutes and 60–90 minutes, temperatures stayed steady at 60°C before gradually increasing to about 90°C in roughly two minutes.

The best option would be to disable ultimate performance and opt for a "balanced" setting temporarily. Check the fan curve in the BIOS (or Corsair's software) to ensure fans adjust properly. With the current hardware, it's hard to significantly lower temperatures.

I noticed lowering the CPU voltage significantly reduced temperatures. Two friends (both twins, both have 5800x) had identical systems except for one adjusting CPU voltages and seeing a 5-10 degree drop in idle temps. Under load it performed even better. They’re not familiar with overclocking or benchmarking, but on Reddit there are some suggestions to consider. My 5800x model isn’t listed yet, but it seems they run things that way.
