Received a B450 motherboard and plan to pair it with a Ryzen 5000 CPU. I know the board needs an update for compatibility, but since that update was released some time ago and my board is new, will the BIOS automatically include the latest version? I have the Gigabyte B450 Aorus Pro Wi-Fi board, and the CPU will be a Ryzen 5 5600G.

It's hard to tell based on the timing of its arrival. I only purchased it recently, but packaging from 2019 suggests it might not have been made recently.

I purchased a B450 Aorus M around a month ago and it came with an old BIOS—it was actually the very first one that worked with Zen2 CPUs.

It's common for older boards to come with outdated BIOS versions, especially since Zen 2 wasn't widely available at the time of purchase. Many such setups still function, though performance may be limited.
