I recently purchased a fresh battery for my Nitro 5 AN515-53 laptop from this seller on Amazon. After installing it, I left the device to charge for a few hours. It reached full charge every time I powered it up, but once I removed the charger, it instantly fell to 92%. Each time I recharged it back to 100%, it dropped again to 92%. When I checked my battery report (attached here), I noticed the advertised capacity was 48k Mega-Watt hours, while the report showed a design capacity of 51,680 mWh and a full charge capacity of 50,738 mWh. It’s worth mentioning that the numbers before the 25th come from the previous battery. Could this difference explain why the charge drops so quickly? Even though 92% is close to the maximum, it still represents only about 46-47k mWh. Is there a way to resolve this issue? The battery doesn’t seem to drain rapidly from 92%. I can return it until August 23rd, but I’m unsure if another unit from this retailer will work. Anyone have recommendations for a replacement besides this one?
