Could this mark harm the motherboard enough to render it unusable? It’s an A B450 Aorus PRO.

It doesn’t seem too severe. From a photo it’s tough to judge how far the scratch goes. There are a few marks now, but I’m not sure if they’re really damaged. If the scratch affected a trace, that might be a concern. Without testing the board, it’s hard to say for certain if there’s an issue or just surface damage.

I notice two exposed traces, both seeming intact and unbroken. Your concern is whether it will work properly. The likely answer is yes, but only if we’re realistic about the situation. To be sure, imagine purchasing it at half price only if I could confirm it starts up reliably. The main worry with the copper traces is corrosion, especially in humid or coastal areas. If you live near the sea, testing a boot is wise. If it boots and performs well under stress, applying a protective coating like clearcoat or matte black nail polish could help prevent further issues.
