avoid giving priority to SSDs and APUs because CPU and GPU performance isn't enough, a dedicated single GPU works more efficiently.

Around the time of the 7850K project, there was some discussion about choosing between an APU and an FX CPU. If you're not aiming for an APU, going with an FX CPU is recommended instead of an Athlon.
