Reliably, when I run an internet speed test or during other random instances, the system briefly slows and the screen briefly turns off before resuming. Occasionally the background window doesn’t reappear, and I usually adjust brightness via the monitor controls instead of Windows settings, but it returns to normal. Sometimes strange visual glitches occur, such as black lines around text or flickering animations—still not fully grasping PC gaming terminology. This behavior happens with either DisplayPort or HDMI connections. I’ve used an HDMI port with a PS4 and monitor for over a year without issues. I’m running onboard graphics with a Ryzen 7600X and believe the driver is current, as confirmed by Device Manager. Motitor is a Gigabyte GS27Q.
Onboard graphics work well with Windows and web browsing. The problem could be a driver issue—consider installing the AMD drivers from the provided link for the iGPU. You mentioned using the default Microsoft driver, which might not be optimal.
