Focus on the element within the red circle... it's quite bothersome (unappealing). Why wasn't this feature designed to vanish automatically?
Been a few months since I last played it, but I don't remember an auto-hide option, or ton of UI options at all being present. Also, a related "spoiler" that took me ages to find out for the item shortcuts (just in case you like more of them): Spoiler The multiple shortcut sets are no longer a skill/upgrade. You can enable up to 4 sets of items in the options.
It's odd they have so many features without clear explanations, and the available choices are quite limited. There are some interface options, but I was hoping to check them first before diving in and risking mistakes. This "item set" definitely feels out of place compared to Monster Hunter, which has a much more refined item bar system—something you can navigate entirely off-screen or simply pick what suits you.
