Hello! I hope you're doing well. I'm trying to figure out which GPS chip is used in the mainboard of the Samsung A3 phone. Could anyone help me identify it? I've attached some photos for reference. Also, do you know if other positioning systems like GLONASS or BDS use the same chip as GPS? Or are separate chips needed for each system? Thanks ahead of time! Rob.

The GPS receiver connects with the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth modules. Look at the chip labels for identification. Upgrading requires OEM firmware tools and the ability to create a new one.

I need to examine the chips closely to identify them. I’d probably need a USB microscope to read any labels on them. It looks like some letters are hard to see. To help you both, I’m planning to remove it and check if the phone still functions properly.
