I'm considering a new rig for photo and 4K video editing. I want to know if the Intel 10850K remains a solid choice or if I should explore other options. People mention it uses a lot of power, and it's available for about $420. Could you suggest some alternatives? Thank you!

This budget looks especially appealing right now. Other options could involve a 3900X with just a few extra dollars if you're confident about using the additional cores.

I’m searching for a processor with built-in graphics. If it doesn’t come with one, I’ll consider Intel options instead.
