Had HWmonitor been watching during the short time I played Starfield? Probably around three hours. I understand the game can be demanding on the system, but are these temperatures still okay? Edit: from left to right: current temps, lowest temps, highest temps, average temps

What cooler and case do you have? It's a bit too warm.

Slightly warm – not yet risky. Above 95°C is usually when things start to become a concern

This cooler isn't very powerful for the 5800X3D. The temperatures look reasonable, and a max of 90°C seems acceptable.

According to Noctua's site, this setup should work well. Most games handle it without issues, except for Warhammer 3 which can get very hot. This title seems especially demanding.

Starfield lacks good optimization for settings. For example, playing at 1440p with 50% scaling leads to poorer performance and graphics compared to using native 1080p and full scaling. It might just be a minor adjustment.

We're using this cooler now, and temperatures are typically around 50-70°C. At 90°C it's really pushing performance limits. If I could, I'd replace the PBO2 and check the thermal paste—make sure it's MX4 only.
