Here’s how the situation unfolds:
I recently relocated my PC and left it in storage for a couple of weeks. I also got a new monitor. Since the PC started working normally, these are the only two incidents I’ve noticed. Additionally, I updated the chipset driver from 10.1.1.44 to 10.1.1.45, but the problem persisted.

My setup includes:
- Model: MoBo Strix Z270F
- BIOS version: 1501
- CPU: 6700k
- Power supply: HX850i
- GPU: Strix R9 380 4GB
- Monitor: XG27UCS (previously MG279Q)

I’m trying to figure out what’s going on. The monitor doesn’t send a signal about 90% of the time during boot attempts. I checked the monitor power with OSD, and changing the PSU off didn’t help. Sometimes I switch the PSU off and it still works. After that, I can boot normally in BIOS or Windows, and everything functions perfectly for daily use and gaming. The issue comes back when I put the PC to sleep or shut it down.

It’s strange because I can’t even reach the BIOS when this happens—just a complete lack of signal. There were brief moments yesterday when the "boot LED" stayed on yellow, but that didn’t happen consistently.

Any suggestions? I’m really confused.

Based on what I see, it seems there might be something misaligned. It probably needed some time to heat up and tighten properly. Could have been shifted or disturbed while moving.

Hello and thank you for your response!
I appreciate your approach and have just powered off the PC, cleaned it thoroughly inside and out, verified all cables were securely connected on the front side, removed the GPU, confirmed the CMOS battery was functioning properly (no spare available yet, will order one tomorrow if necessary), dusted the GPU again, reinserted it, and double-checked that the power cable was fully inserted. I opened the back panel of the case and ensured all PSU cables were firmly attached.
I restarted immediately and performed a restart, which worked perfectly.
Of course, we can't be certain this was a complete success just yet—I'll let her rest tonight and try again tomorrow morning once everything has cooled down.
I'll keep you updated...

Day 1 of my PC starting up properly from cold...
I'm really frustrated it felt so straightforward yet still causes this vibration noise coming from the back of a van.
