I'm using a GIGABYTE B560M DS3H and want to turn on HPET to lower input latency from vsync. The Blurbusters low-lag vsync guide suggests it for frame capping, but the command line tool doesn't show "useplatformclock." It's unclear if HPET is enabled directly or through another method.

In the BIOS, the Power section appears under the main menu, even though it’s turned on automatically.

Looking for the Power Menu? I saw "Platform Power," but it doesn’t appear to be there.

The BIOS appears different compared to the versions shown online for this board. It seems to have shifted from B560M onwards. If you didn’t see it when using 'bcdedit /enum', it likely means it’s not compatible with your system.

Based on my notes, the commands to turn on/off are: enable with bcdedit /set useplatformclock true and disable with bcdedit /deletevalue useplatformclock. I've seen cases where turning HPET on leads to unusual slowdowns, so I recommend keeping it off.

I also attempted this, but it led to unusual delays. This made me think about turning it on through the BIOS. It seems there’s likely no option in the BIOS to activate it.
