After shutting down the system, I found the BIOS showed only half the RAM installed. The RGB stayed functional, and I could even control it via software, but the motherboard didn’t recognize the module. I tested a working RAM stick across all four slots—it worked perfectly. I ran MemTest three times, and only the faulty stick showed errors. I contacted the retailer, who sent me a brand new identical set for free. At first, I suspected the PSU was faulty and replaced it with a CORSAIR RM750 just to be safe. Now, my RAM is failing again. The same pattern appears: RGB works but the module isn’t detected. I’m confused—this is unusual. My new parts are listed in MSI’s RAM specifications for my motherboard, and I’ve been using XMP1 at 3200MHz without adjusting timings. This could lead to memory issues but shouldn’t completely disable the drive. Use AIDA64 or similar utilities to retrieve all timing details for the 1600 MHz XMP preset and verify them in the BIOS.
I searched for all the advice given. Aida64 mentioned DRAM voltage is 1.25 while both HWMonitor and motherboard show 1.348.
