Check Ryzen 2700x compatibility with PBO voltages
Hello everyone, I just got a Ryzen 2700X and am really pleased with the upgrade. The temperatures have stayed consistently around 70°C, often hovering in the 60s, which is great. I installed Ryzen Master just to explore the details, and it shows the PBO is enabled by default. The frequency is usually around 4.1 GHz, and the chipset generations range from 1.47 to 1.5. Would it be better to disable it and manage it through the BIOS? I didn’t even think about overclocking initially, but I’m satisfied with the performance.
I used the CPU ID that comes with the Rog software. I noticed the voltage ranges from 1.45 to 1.485, clocks are between 4.08 and 4.125, multiplayer works, and the fan adjusts automatically. This seems like typical behavior for Ryzen processors. Coming from Intel, it feels a bit unusual to me.
