Check motherboard support and bus speed details.
I'm starting this project for the first time and completely new to building PCs. I need a motherboard with Wi-Fi to run a 3700X and didn’t want to spend too much, so I found the B450 gaming pro carbon, which was recommended as a solid choice for my CPU and could handle a BIOS flash. My plan was to install some fast memory—specifically 2×8GB DDR4 at 3600MHz—but the site said the memory bus speed can go up to 3466MHz. Should I stick with 3200MHz sticks instead? I don’t have much experience with overclocking, but I’m okay with a small tweak, thanks!
b450 tomahawk max offers a stronger platform, maintaining CPU performance even without BIOS updates or flashing. You can still run with 3600mhz RAM, though it may require overclocking.
