I purchased an A520 motherboard and a Ryzen 3 4300G processor. I wanted to know if the CPU would function properly right out of the box without requiring a BIOS update.

Most makers release their devices with the latest software updates today. Even if a particular model hasn’t been updated, it should still function because the 500-series models were designed for Ryzen 3000 chips.

It seems the MSI A520M vh Pro uses the original BIOS, which means it should be reliable.
