I enjoy examining the socket where the M.2 plugs in. It looks like the correct slot is present, matching the M.2 SSD you were considering. There’s also another type, though I’m not entirely sure of the distinction. When I received my M.2 drive, I double-checked the slot and it functioned properly, lol.

It does back that SSD option. Make sure to refresh your BIOS since the feature was added recently. It’s uncertain if it allows booting from that storage device, as details aren’t clear. I’d avoid NVMe unless necessary; your board restricts it to PCIe 2.0 X2, capped at about 1GB per second max. The difference between SATA and full-speed NVMe isn’t very significant depending on your usage, especially with this speed limit in mind. I’d likely choose an M.2 SATA drive (noting that two standard SATA ports won’t work) or a regular SATA SSD.
