I don't think so. If you want to update it during installation, you can. I suggest skipping the update, adding third-party drivers, and installing it manually. Once started, install the necessary programs and remove what you don’t need. After that, update the software. If you plan to run the OS from USB, it’s better to use Slax—you can run it via USB and save changes in Slax. It also works on Debian.
