Hey! Your new 3080 Ti looks promising. Your current rig runs smoothly with 9400f, a micro ATX motherboard, and a Kingston 2666 MHz RAM setup of 2x16GB. You’re seeing solid performance across most games, except for Kingdom Come where you drop to around 10 FPS at ultra settings. Warzone averages about 85 FPS too. You mention occasional microstutters, especially in Warzone—this could point to a few factors: the CPU, the RAM speed, or even driver issues. A 9900K might be worth considering if you’re looking for a more powerful core, but it would cost around 380 euros and bring you up to speed. Alternatively, upgrading to something like a 5950X with better memory and a modern motherboard could be a solid investment for both gaming and development, costing roughly 1400 euros total. Since you’re mainly gaming but also use it for VMs and dev work, balancing performance and budget makes sense. Let me know what you decide!

If I were you, I’d likely get an upgrade since Ultra isn’t worth it.

I would choose the zen 3 path for PCIe4.0 and higher cores, opting for 5900x or 5950x based on cost considerations.
