Check if your Sabrent Rocket 4+ with a 4TB drive is functioning correctly.
I purchased this earlier but didn’t install it for a few months due to the time needed to take down my water cooling setup. I’ve been using it now, but I’m concerned it might be affecting its performance. I suspect it could be causing slow loading or delays in game asset loading. I tried running Crystal Disk Mark, but the results for the 4TB drive aren’t showing up—only the 2TB version, which is significantly different (see review here: https://www.legitreviews.com/sabrent-roc...w_224507/4). I shared my findings and was hoping others with this SSD could compare their results. Thanks for your assistance in clarifying this. Peak Performance (R/W mixed) Real Performance (R/W mixed). A few details: it uses a Gen4 slot (Asus B550i), is configured for Gen4 in BIOS (latest), and the other M.2 drive is set to SATA to maintain lane cleanliness. It includes a built-in heatsink, which I removed from the thermal pad. The installation was clean, but I upgraded to Windows 11. I ran these tests with as many background apps closed as possible. The only activity using the SSD was Nvidia Container, which I can’t turn off.
Here's something else weird, my C: drive doesn't have the UEFI partition on it. for some reason that's on my other M.2 SSD. Could this do something like funnel all of my drive fetches through the slower SSD?
