Performing a stress test caused the CPU to reach 95°C, remaining at that level for about 10–15 minutes before the system shut down. Assessing the risk of damage depends on factors like cooling, usage intensity, and component health. It’s possible but not guaranteed—monitor for further symptoms.

They didn’t necessarily harm it; most modern CPUs power down when they reach a specific heat level. Consider upgrading with an aftermarket cooling solution.

I’m expecting the Arctic Freezer 34 Duo in a short time to swap out the existing cooler.

The likelihood of damaging the chip remains minimal, yet the risk of deterioration isn't. It seems you're likely okay—3600 hours shouldn't trigger a thermal shutdown even with a stock cooler, indicating something may be amiss.

I’m not sure how much damage you caused. The temperatures were around 70–80°C during the game, which is quite high.

It's unclear if it has deteriorated; stepping back one level in your OC might be necessary. A 95°C reading during 3600 hours on a stock cooler suggests something unusual—likely requiring a significant voltage increase.

I have the voltage set to auto and an auto OC enabled in Ryzen Master.
