I'm curious about your previous card xfx rx 7900 xtx magnetic air. About a year ago, it had a PSU of 850w 80+gold (montech century g5). Will that be sufficient now? It has broken twice, which seems to be a hardware issue, possibly related to the PSU. I noticed it behaves differently, pulling around 400 watts. Is this connected to the PSU problem?

I'm curious about your previous setup. My XFX RX 7900 xtx magnetic air card, which was around a year ago, had a PSU of 850W 80+gold from Montech Century G5. How long has the PSU been in use? What power did it supply during its time?

Check this link for details: https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/xf...xtx.b11842

The recommended wattage is 750W, but XFX says it can work with an 850W unit. Wattage and efficiency aren't the only factors when assessing PSU quality.

We should have more information. When sharing a troubleshooting thread, it's standard to provide full system specifications. Please list your build details like this:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:

Include the age of the PSU, its make and model, and the BIOS version. Also, share images or videos of your setup. Does the GPU display error code 43 in Device Manager if you're using Windows? And what is the current GPU model you're using now?
