Hello, Your query is about RAM compatibility for the Asus Maximus XII Formula with the I9 10900K. You're considering adding a 4x8GB Corsair Dominator 3600mhz module and want to know if it would affect the motherboard's armor settings.

The issue typically arises when using a big air cooler, though it won’t affect the board itself.

Thanks for your patience. I exchanged several messages with ASUS but didn’t get any updates. For the cooler, I’m considering a Corsair H150i and am still figuring things out.

This RGB memory is amazing—definitely worth checking out. It works perfectly with any liquid cooler. Have fun assembling your build!

It shouldn’t be a big problem, but locating a 2x16 GB kit would likely keep the cost similar. This could ease the CPU’s IMC, maybe letting you push it further, and most importantly, it would open a route for future upgrades if you later need more memory.

I’ll be happy to finish it. I haven’t upgraded anything except my GPU, which has lasted me six years so far.

I checked the option for 2x16 but realized it’s better suited for gaming and streaming needs. I didn’t expect a need for 64GB later, so I filled the slots for organizational purposes.

I performed the same action for a 4x8GB package under identical circumstances

In my studies, a 32GB drive remains excessive for gaming, so a 64GB option wasn’t necessary even if I were aiming for maximum performance.
