However, I've observed that Microsoft isn't prioritizing the processor for Windows 11 since my PC uses an i7 4 generation chip. The only workaround I tried was checking the TPM and it worked on my system. That led me to consider installing a TPM 2.0, as my motherboard includes a TPM header. Regarding the motherboard, I think it was built around 2016, though the first BIOS release was in 2014 (H81M-CS BIOS 0302 Version 0302, 4.96 MB, released August 8, 2014).

You believe your motherboard is from 2016 even though the first BIOS was released about two years prior. Windows may not fully utilize your processor; check the official Microsoft site for details. For support of future updates and features, newer hardware is necessary.

I'll make sure to update my hardware, but I can't confirm if TPM 2.0 is compatible with this motherboard.

It wasn't released two years after the board's creation. Apologies. Full 11 support requires Zen+, Coffee Lake, or later hardware.

FWIW, here's Asus' list on boards that have BIOS that support 2.0. Intel 6/7th gen chipsets are the oldest they list. https://www.asus.com/microsite/motherboa...n11-ready/

They say those Intel chips from the 6th and 7th generation aren't compatible with Windows 11.

The system needs more than just TPM 2.0 support to qualify for Windows 11.

The page suggests all boards are 11 ready, but this might not match your CPU requirements. The motherboard works, yet the processor inside doesn’t fit.
