Hello, I recently replaced my graphics card with an RX 7600 but it’s not showing up. I’m unsure if the issue is with the card itself, my motherboard, or the power supply. My motherboard is B550M PRO-VDH and I have a Mag 650W PSU. The CPU is an AMD Ryzen 5 5600 with 32GB RAM. Any suggestions would be helpful.

The Radeon RX 7600 fits the motherboard, and the power supply is functioning properly. You connected the cable to the GPU, not the motherboard.

When using DP, switch to a different port or HDMI, and the other way around.

I've changed the GPU several times without drivers, which is why a blank screen appears when none are installed.

Also uncertain about your graphics card model, ensure the 8-pin power cable is securely connected to the card itself, not just the PCI slot. I understand there are many straightforward tips here, but even experienced users sometimes overlook simple details.

Hello everyone, my Rx 7600 GPU is still having problems. The drivers are updated but the issue persists. Gameplay feels fine except for occasional crashes, which seem to occur after restarts. The frustrating part is the green screen appears every time I restart before the desktop loads. I've attached a photo for reference.

When I first assembled my PC, the motherboard I used (MSI AMD B550M PRO-VDH AM4 DDR4 Micro ATX Gaming) had problems. It would display Chinese text and behave poorly from the start, though it eventually fixed that issue. I'm unsure if this is connected to my GPU problems.

Another concern is the BIOS access. It freezes at the green screen, but if I persist, it lets me in. I also tested on another TV I know should work better for gaming, but it's quite costly. After a crash, the cable connects to my TV, yet the screen remains black and doesn<|pad|>. Interestingly, the BIOS was already stuck on that screen before, but the second TV didn't crash.

I own both GTX 1660 and GTX 1070 Ti cards, which haven't caused these issues.

It may result from defective hardware or an incorrect driver. The next green screen you encounter could indicate a specific error code. Capture an image of the screen if an error appears; this will help identify the device responsible. I understand it appears quickly. If the green screen disappears too soon to photograph, a fresh installation of Windows might be necessary.

@BillBill I had a look but there is no code on the green screen I did uninstall drivers using ddu. But no fix still get green screen or flickering before entering desktop. Bios is so annoying because I can't get into because of issue. Would fresh install of windows really resolve this problem?. Edited November 3, 2024 by Alix

Bill suggests testing it and thinks the motherboard might have started having problems with BIOS, along with issues in Chinese language settings and crashes.
