I think the x800 series should integrate smoothly with the 9000 series. It's always wise to verify the CPU compatibility list just in case.

What BIOS version is active? Your point is accurate—3D graphics cards arrived after the motherboards were released. Unless your board was just shipped from the factory on October 24th, you're likely looking at the newest BIOS version. Fortunately, the update is straightforward, even without a CPU. Plug in power, use an empty FAT32 flash drive, download the latest BIOS, extract it, rename it to creative.rom, then copy that file onto the flash drive. Insert the USB into the designated BIOS port, power on the PSU, press and hold the BIOS flash button until the light begins to blink. After 5 to 10 minutes, wait, turn off the PSU, and remove the USB. Completed. Updating a brand-new board is usually necessary when installing a new CPU.
