I bought an RGB LED light strip from Amazon in December or January. It required its own power supply and a controller or remote. I noticed the end connection looks like the headers on my motherboard for PC RGB strips, so I wondered if it was possible to use it that way. I also considered if it would be safe to connect it to my motherboard and control it using the built-in software, especially since I had faced problems with the remote—like being unable to turn it off or getting incorrect colors.
