The manufacturer's site only shows up to Ryzen 2nd generation, which makes me doubt it.

My board supports Picasso Ridge, but I’m not sure if it’s the third, second, or first generation Ryzen model.

Picasso Ridge isn't the third generation. For details on what a Picasso Ridge CPU is, see this link: https://en.wikichip.org/wiki/amd/cores/summit_ridge

The latest update suggests otherwise, but I’m pulling back my claim. The A320 doesn’t support the Ryzen 3000.

Sure, I just noticed that. I'm on a tight budget.

I found a BIOS for my motherboard on the manufacturer's site, showing Ryzen 9 there. It seems to be compatible with the third generation.

It’s likely some a320 models received bios updates, though I didn’t catch any for your particular setup. Additionally, the second generation Ryzen 9 might have been included to add support.

Wait...MSi mentions the A320M PRO-E supports Ryzen 3000-series CPUs. Is there an error on MSi's side? @The General @Letgomyleghoe @zeusthemoose That said, I concur with others about placing a high power draw CPU on that motherboard. Still, the Ryzen 3100 or 3300X might be viable options too.

It seems the 3000 series isn't displayed prominently on the main page. Appreciate the info, though—I hadn't noticed it while checking supported CPUs.
